Au Loin Je Vois La Lune

This collective artists' exhibition brought together nearly 30 young emerging artists from diverse backgrounds. The works, including paintings, sculptures and 3D prints, each expressed the artists' delicate perception of life in their own way.
The exhibition emphasized the diversity of art forms, supported the growth of young international artists and aimed to create a shared aesthetic experience that transcended individual, media and cultural boundaries.
In keeping with the exhibition's youthful, dynamic tone, “Au loin je vois la lune” invited viewers to explore freely between the stone walls and tiled floors. In this lively, resolutely contemporary space, the artists experimented with modes of expression that pushed back the boundaries even further.
Mengqi Xia's wool installation, impregnated with malt scent, aimed to evoke a multi-dimensional sensory experience, while Zhengzheng Tian used his paintbrush to describe sounds, the latter derived from random natural noises previously collected using raindrop sensors. These media transformations added narrative nuance to the exhibition.
Moreover, the links between the works often appeared in unexpected ways: the smoke drawn by Holly was transmitted to the ripples in Shijia Song's videos. Elements such as wind, light and ink, which resonated spontaneously in the works of the various artists, also reminded viewers of their own memories and sensations.
